Darren Craig (“DC”) Lamb

Managing Partner

DC Lamb is the Founder and Managing Partner of DCL Legal, AI, & Business Consulting. He advises founders, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses on the legal and strategic challenges that come with building and scaling modern companies.

DC's practice focuses on business litigation, commercial transactions, and outside general counsel services — providing companies with ongoing legal guidance without the need to hire full-time in-house counsel. He is also a recognized speaker on the integration of artificial intelligence in legal practice and business operations, advising organizations on AI governance, ethics, and responsible implementation.

DC is licensed to practice in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana, and is based in Nashville.

Denver Nicks

Attorney

Denver Nicks is an attorney and award-winning journalist whose legal experience spans civil rights, employment discrimination, media law, probate, and criminal defense. He has represented clients in First Amendment, open records, and news gathering matters, and has litigated civil cases across a broad range of practice areas. He also has assisted attorneys across the country with complex research, briefing, and legal analysis.

Before law school, Denver spent more than a decade as a journalist, including as a staff writer at TIME magazine and as a contributor to Rolling Stone, National Geographic, and others. He is the author of three books, most recently Conviction: The Murder Trial That Powered Thurgood Marshall’s Fight for Civil Rights (2019). A Fulbright Scholar, he holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Denver earned his juris doctorate from Tulane.
